How it Works
- All players who select the same college or university will form a virtual school team.
- Each month, players' net P$ earned will be aggregated, giving each school team a monthly total.
- P$ gained and lost in public markets plus P$ earned as prizes in contests will count towards a player's net P$ earned.
- The school whose team has the strongest performance for the month will receive a donation from ProphetShares.
Additional Details
- A player’s contribution is their net gain for the month (total gains – total losses). Net gain cannot be less than zero, so if you have a bad month, your team is no worse off than if you didn’t play.
- There is no impact to a player’s ability to exchange P$ for prizes and charitable contributions. Likewise, making an exchange will not impact that player’s contribution to their school team.
- The more players on a team, the better chance of that team winning.
- First-time selections can be made mid-month but changes to a selected school will be effective at the start of the following month.
- School teams are independent from charity teams and they will NOT compete against each other. Each month, one donation will be made to a charity and one donation will be made to a school.
